Welcome to Walking Points

Thanks for stopping by the blog. In the Bible, the term, “walking,” is often used to describe the direction and health of one’s faith and relationship with God. Thus, various folks in Scripture are said to have walked with God. Elsewhere, followers of Christ are encouraged to walk in the truth, according to God’s commandments, and in the same way Christ walked. Conversely, we are cautioned to not “walk in darkness” or “in idleness.”

The resources you will find at this website are here to help you walk more faithfully in your relationship with Christ. And since he is Lord over every sphere of life, following him covers a great deal of ground. Thus, the material on this blog will cover a wide spectrum of topics that impact the everyday and eternal lives of disciples of Jesus Christ.

Check back often, or better yet, sign up to follow this blog. It will be updated several times a week. (As I write this, I’m still moving content from my other website to this one. So, the amount of content being added daily will be more than usual, if you want to hold off signing up for a week or two.)

Thanks again for stopping by.
